Color and Appearance Seminars have moved Online!

Due to current events we have moved our tremendously popular and educational seminars into two-part, regional, webinar events!

Learn the essentials of color science and the elements to an effective color process within research and manufacturing environments. This engaging seminar is targeted to industry professionals with job functions in controlling the color quality, consistency, and appearance of their products or samples. Hosted by a Konica Minolta Sensing color expert, each attendee will leave with a solid understanding of color and the components required for evaluating, communicating, and controlling color internally

The online seminar will be presented in two parts

Part I
  • The science and psychology of color
  • Subjective versus Objective color analysis
  • Requirement for perception of color
  • Different light sources and the affect they have on color viewing
  • Definition and detection of metamerism
Part II
  • Quantifying and communication color via instrumentation
  • Explanation of color spaces and color difference equations
  • Differences between colorimeters and spectrophotometers
  • Explanation on different instrumental geometries and settings
  • Creating meaningful tolerances

At the end of each seminar there will be a chance to interact with our experts for technical advice, tips, color and appearance assessments, and networking and to stay connected after the event. If interested in having one of our experts assess the color and appearance of your product or application, please bring in a sample to the seminar or make arrangements for one of our experts to visit your site.

Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. has temporarily suspended live seminars in response to current events. This decision was made to safeguard the health of our employees and our customers. Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. intends to resume our seminars within the next few months.

Please check contact me when a seminar is in my area if you would like to be alerted when the live seminars resume.
